The Sydney Coffee School was formed not just to be another coffee school production line. We operate independently and are not influenced by large suppliers. We are dedicated to making coffee taste better and together with the industry ensure that newly graduated baristas go out into the workforce prepared with the right attitude.   

With 18 years experience around the world within the hospitality industry, together with 10 years employed as a Food & Beverage Manager, he has a good idea of what the industry is demanding. Employers will not offer you a barista job, just because you have a certificate. With hands-on experience you will be trained to become a barista and receive invaluable tips and advice to prepare you for work and how to continue and develop your new- found skills.

We use a nationally recognised training program and our barista trainers are 'Certificate IV' qualified in hospitality, and in particular coffee. Most importantly our team has over thirty years of experience working within the coffee industry.

Our classroom has been specially designed with the trainer and student in mind, with air-conditioning and complimentary mineral water provided all day. We are conveniently located in the heart of Sydney's CBD!
