UNDERSTANDING OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE ESSENTIAL!
Part One - 9.45am to 1.00pm
· History of coffee.
· Organisation of your workstation and Mise-en-place.
· How to store coffee to maintain freshness.
· How to use an espresso machine and grinder.
· How to pour an espresso.
· How to texture milk effectively.
· Prepare and present different coffees typically served in a café or restaurant.
· How to set a coffee grinder.
· Cleaning, care and maintenance of the espresso machine & grinder.
· Health and Hygiene practices.
LUNCH BREAK - 1.00pm to 2.00pm
Part Two - 2.00pm to 4.00pm
Two hours of coffee making!
· Master free pour technique.
· Techniques used by competition baristas.
· Advanced presentation styles.
· Understanding coffee and layering.
· Coffee Latte Art (make as many as you like).
